New Reformation

This teaching stream will explore the New Reformation.

While the Reformation of the 1500s was a watershed of gargantuan proportions, reshaping the religious and geo-political landscape of Europe and indeed the world to this day, nonetheless, it was only the beginning—reformation is still in process. In the light of Scripture, issues of authority and leadership, and especially sectarianism and division, remain unresolved. This calls for a more fundamental reformation at a moral and spiritual level across the whole church.

The Great Reset: Charting The Way Forward

The Great Reset: Charting The Way Forward

In 2004 I wrote that the period 1950 to 2025 represents a hinge of history, on which swings a door to a new epoch of the Kingdom of God. The Biden presidency will bring us to the brink of that new era, to 2025.But at the same time I also wrote that the “twin towers” attack of 2001 signalled an acceleration of God’s judgment on the West, already reaching through the holocaust of … [Read more...]

The Hinge of a New Age: Preparing the Way for Global Revival

Marriage is a physical symbol of a spiritual reality. The apostle uses the same analogy when addressing the church in the city of Corinth: I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him. 2 Corinthians 11:2 God’s Nature Demonstrated through Marriage The Bible, therefore, treats very … [Read more...]

The Present Kairos: Cultural Genocide, or Renewal?

Mordecai’s words to Esther, in the Jew’s moment of existential threat, are apt for our present cultural crisis: For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time [kairos] as this?” Esther 4:14 Israel was … [Read more...]

The West in the Valley of Decision

The West in the Valley of Decision

Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God’s kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise you too will be cut off. Romans 11:22 Like apostate Israel, God has given the West “a spirit of stupor” so that she has not seen nor heard (Rom. 11:8). Still reeling from the carnage of the twentieth century – … [Read more...]

A Reformation To Laud, Lament, Or To Long For?

A Reformation To Laud, Lament, Or To Long For?

The 500th Anniversary of the Reformation. This October 31 marks the 500th anniversary of the Reformation when Martin Luther, to protest the selling of "indulgences", nailed his 95 theses to the church door of Wittenberg. Little did he know that "one small step for man, would be one giant leap for mankind". It triggered a spiritual and cultural revolution that reshaped … [Read more...]

The Message

21st century Western man is now living in the moral debris of the 20th century experiment—the experiment of messianic statism – Marxist, Fascist, and now secular Humanist – with its rejection of God in Christ as the genius of the Western cultural heritage. Spiritually, morally, and financially bankrupt the West has now exhausted its options.

Our message despite the historic failure of humanity, including the church, is one of certainty and hope. God has a purpose for history and for nations—for their governance, prosperity, and peace. God’s plan for the planet is more than adequate for its crisis. Lifemessenger is committed to speaking a prophetically pertinent word to church and culture.
