Because God’s purpose is to restore the cosmos, he will first restore his church. Tragically within the first several centuries the church fell from its high destiny, particularly through its Constantinian settlement. Nonetheless, God's work of re-formation and restoration began, accelerating through the Reformation of the 16th century and progressessing through various moves of God.
