God's Ways

This teaching stream explores walking in God’s Ways, as a Christian believer, but also as a society.

What are God’s ways? Certainly not ours as we pride oursleves on doing it "my way", and this is despite news media daily broadcasting the result—accelerating societal breakdown. God’s ways are therefore not only personal, but societal and ethical; they are the knowledge of God and his law for all humankind practically applied; they are wisdom for living.

God’s ways therefore involve:

  • Social Ethics
  • Path to Maturity

Keys to Divine Healing

March 24, 2018 by W. J. Ern Baxter (1914-1993)

Keys to Divine Healing

In this message Ern Baxter draws on his experiences with William Branham in the worldwide healing revival of the 1940s-50s. Ministering to large crowds of up to 200,000 people a night, Ern noticed a phenomenon—unbelievers were experiencing miracles and instantaneous healings while believers were not. What God began to show him was, first, that divisions within the Body of … [Read more...]

The Gospel & Cultural Transformation: Natural Law or God’s Law?

The Gospel & Cultural Transformation: Natural Law or God’s Law?

The current emphasis on the Gospel's power to renew cities and culture is a great positive. Nevertheless, it provokes an important question. Let us assume that city and cultural renewal gain traction – which, increasingly, they will – the next question is how do we determine the ethics and laws by which a renewed and just society should be governed. As a Christian you … [Read more...]

The Problem of Evil: Finding God in our Pain

The Problem of Evil: Finding God in our Pain

"I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear; But now my eye sees You”   Job 42:5. The Problem of Evil. From ancient Greece (e.g. Epicurus, 342-270 BC), to the Enlightenment (e.g. David Hume, AD 1711-76), up to the present day, philosophers and theologians alike have been baffled by the "problem of evil". Many consider it as the Achilles heel of Christianity. The … [Read more...]

Religious Freedom: A Proposed Bill of Rights for Australia

Religious Freedom: A Proposed Bill of Rights for Australia

After vigorous national debate, Australia, in September 2017,  voted in a plebiscite to legalise Same-Sex Marriage. This highlighted the issue of competing rights and the potential suppression of freedom of speech and religion. As a result the Prime Minister established a Religious Freedom Review served by an expert panel of academics and clergy. Lifemessenger has submitted the … [Read more...]

A Biblical View of Church and State: Implications for Same-Sex Marriage

In understanding the biblical role of church and state – and its implications for homosexuality – we must first understand the transformational nature of God’s kingdom. Christ is not only “head over all things to the church” (Eph 1:22), but also “ruler of kings on earth” (Rev 1:5). Through Christ’s resurrection and ascension he has been given “all authority in heaven and on … [Read more...]

The Message

21st century Western man is now living in the moral debris of the 20th century experiment—the experiment of messianic statism – Marxist, Fascist, and now secular Humanist – with its rejection of God in Christ as the genius of the Western cultural heritage. Spiritually, morally, and financially bankrupt the West has now exhausted its options.

Our message despite the historic failure of humanity, including the church, is one of certainty and hope. God has a purpose for history and for nations—for their governance, prosperity, and peace. God’s plan for the planet is more than adequate for its crisis. Lifemessenger is committed to speaking a prophetically pertinent word to church and culture.
